Self Description
            Relevant Experience / Teaching Style: My experience in teaching comes from the relief teaching I did at my former primary school. I am also well versed and constantly updated with the primary school syllabus , thus able to guide your child with the most effective and efficient solutions. I am flexible in my teaching methods and able to adapt to individual student’s ability and behavior. Be they intelligent, quiet, playful or mischievous, I am confident in bringing out the best in them through my various teaching methods. I specialize in languages and Humanities. I personally believe a child's foundation in their languages is of utmost importance for their future education where a higher level of writing and comprehension is considered a must. Language is improved through constant practice, both written and spoken. As some students who are weak in languages come from a single language family, it takes patience and understanding to help the student in his/her learning process and I'm confident to display the two attributes as mentioned above. In addition, I enjoy teaching Humanities as a subject due to my strong inclination and interest towards the Humanities. I have tutored my junior Humanities in preparation for their 'O' Levels on a voluntary basis and he managed to get an ‘A2’ for his Combined Humanities for his ‘O’ Levels despite repeated failures prior to that. This can be attributed through the techniques and methods I personally applied as a student. My teaching method for Mathematics and Science is ‘going to the root of the problem’, ensuring students get a good foundation. Good foundation is built over understanding key concepts, after which they are applied through constant practice. Lastly, I’m willing to go the extra mile for your child in exchange for his/her better academic performance.
