"Your mentor in both study and life skills"
I enjoy the challenge of teaching struggling students to achieve high grades. I was new to Singapore in my O' Level years, and struggled a lot especially in English. Now, I pride myself to be one of the better English tutors in this country. My teaching methods are less assignment-based, and more interaction-based. So my students don't get much extra work for me outside tuition hours.
I usually teach students who are getting C5 or below in English. I have taught English to 8 O' Level students; Results: 2 A1, 5 A2 and 1 B3. For General Paper, I have taught 3 students; Results: 2 A, 1 B.
As for Maths, I have taught 9 students A and E Maths. Results: A2 or higher. I have not taught H2 Maths for A' Levels before. But I know how to score so I am sure I can teach it.
I have taught more than 20 Primary students. Mostly English and Maths. Very few Science students. I can't exactly remember their results. But they all love me as a tutor (and I am still a mentor to many of them) so I think it counts.
I am doing my Computer Science Honours this year.
I was a failing student for English in Secondary student. And I also was struggling a lot in GP in JC. However, I get A1 and A respectively.
For me, progress counts more than results.
