I have taught English and Creative Writing at the primary school and lower secondary level. I have also taught Biology (life sciences) as an educational facilitator/mentor at the secondary school level. I am exceedingly passionate about working with children across a wide age spectrum. This is evident from my past teaching experiences as a Brain Trainer, Creative Writing teacher as well as a Life Sciences mentor to students. My past voluntary experiences as a physiotherapy-sidewalker volunteer to children with special needs at the Riding School for the Disabled Association (RDA) have also shaped me to be compassionate, patient and attentive to the needs of those under my care. Given my current theatre training, I have also taught speech and drama to children at the preschool level. I am warm, patient and passionate in helping my students excel and reach their fullest potential. I believe in using positive reinforcement in my teaching methods, and I love motivating my students to think and work creatively. It is my goal to help them succeed in life and to believe in themselves. Special Training / Skills: I have worked with kids in cognitive training, sensory integration and occupational therapy, as well as taught creative writing, science and English.
