"Finding joy in learning"

I am a committed and patient individual who finds joy in teaching and having students do well for their exam. I had about 2 years of teaching experience during my time in National Service. All 4 students were able to achieve at least a B for their end of year exams with 3 clinching an A. I often teach from their textbooks since students use their textbooks during class lessons as well and they often find it easier to understand the same concepts that were taught by their teachers. In a 1-1 tuition, I'm more than able to show them concepts in a different perspective, allowing a diversified learning/teaching approach. Of course, I do provide my own sets of questions and papers when i find that the students are more ready to tackle them. I believe all students will do well if given an extra push. I'm all ready to go for the extra mile and reply their queries through the phone if necessary. I enjoy dealing with children, more so helping them in their school work and pulling up their grades. It pleasures me to see the children tasting success through their hard work with the aid of my guidance.
