"Nurturing children through education"
I have currently tutored a few children from contacts of family and friends and would like to broaden my experience as such. I thoroughly enjoy nurturing as well as guiding children of all ages. I am able to commit indefinitely and have no specific rates. I am taking this as an opportunity to expose myself as I aspire to be a teacher in the future. As a tutor/teacher, I'm committed to seeing my students improve and I will readily make myself available at any time of the day to answer questions/stay back a little longer to clear the student's queries.
I taught a student English last year. She jumped B3 to A2 for English. Furthermore, I've also coached my younger brother (from Tao Nan) in English, especially in the area of comprehension and writing for the last few years. As a result, his grades improved from a C to an A for PSLE. In my secondary school as well as polytechnic days, I've often helped fellow classmates with comprehension, essay writing as well as their presentation skills. These friends went from struggling to get a C+ in polytechnic to attaining a comfortable B+.
