"Patient, dedicated help for your kids to succeed"
I have 11.5 years of experience teaching primary and secondary students. I am also extremely patient with weaker students, and am a very committed and highly experienced tutor.
After giving tuition to a Sec 3 boy and helping him to solve challenging problems, he consistently scored 80s, if not 90s, for his E Maths and A Maths mid year and final year examinations. He eventually went on to score an A1 for both his O Level E Maths and A Maths papers. I have also taught a very bright boy for his PSLE Maths. We must have tackled more than a hundred VERY challenging questions, including those involving the use of heuristics such as working backwards, supposition, etc. If I remember correctly, he scored a perfect 100 marks for his preliminary examination, and was the best Maths student in his entire level at his school. I could not contact his parent after he received his PSLE results, but have almost no doubt that he was well on his way to a placing in his dream school, Raffles Institution.
I graduated with honours from NUS. I managed to achieve the Dean's List Award in one semester.
