I am teaching students of NA and NT stream so I am also familiar with the syllabus of those streams despite studying Express. I also tend to make sure that the student has a good attitude (and will actually nag) over time in order to ensure a proper studying etiquette is practised by the child. I still believe that both tutors and tutees must put in the same amount of hardwork and effort in order to make some progress( be it in attitude or in grades). If your child is willing to work hard, I will also do the same and do even more. For tuition lessons, I like to go through what is being done in school for the week and greatly enforce on these concepts again so that the students will not forget. Tuition materials will be assessment books and the student has to have their textbook for reference during lesson. Nearer to exam period, I will print or buy(depends on parent) exam papers for them to practice.
