Personally, I am a graduate in Bachelor of Education and I have 6 years experience in private tutoring for preschool and primary level in which I am provided with the opportunities to interact with primary school children on a daily basis. Additionally, I had the opportunities to complete my Professional Teaching Experience in a variety of educational settings in Singapore and Queensland where I learned how to put theory into practice while leading a classroom. One of my strengths is being creative and utilizing new ideas and approaches to improve the learning experience for my students. I am capable of incorporating a variety of age-appropriate teaching and learning resources, hands on activities, fun manipulatives, as well as learning projects to inspire and motivate the students. This also includes the innovative integration of technology across the curriculum to stimulate student interest and promote learning engagement. I am passionate about empowering preschool and primary school children and helping them to develop their full potential. Part of this process includes close interaction with parents to encourage participation and reinforce learning in the home while building the child's self-esteem and confidence.
