"Help students improve and deepen their understanding of Maths, Science and Accounting concepts"

Prior to full-time tutoring, I was working as an accountant for 8 years. I believe there is no one size fits all teaching method for all students. Having a strong foundation and understanding skill sets are the key essentials in handling the challenges ahead.  Primary focus would be on building up the foundation. Difficult topics / concepts are break down into bite size for learners.  I am a patient tutor who strive to help students improve and deepen their understanding of Maths, and Accounting concepts. My teaching approach would be: -Applying maths heuristics in problem solving  -Providing guidance in understanding problem sum and apply modeling technique to problem solving  -Evaluate and assess students performances constantly.  Years of teaching experience: 2.5years Total number of students taught: 9 Levels & Subjects taught: Maths (P4, P5, P6, Sec1) Achievements: Seen improvements in Maths concepts with better understanding in problem solving for all students. Significant improvements made to students with weak Maths foundation and concepts. Their grades improved from D/C to B in PSLE. Also taught foundation Maths student. His grade improved from Grade 3 to Grade 1 in PSLE.
