"Assist in understanding the subjects with detailed explanations"
I am currently an undergrad in SIM studying BSc in Business. I always believe that tuition is a place where students can engage more with the tutor in a one to one basis so that they can be more confident in attempting their work. I dont believe in giving a lot of works and the students get bored doing them. Every lesson should be looked foward so that they are able to understand comprehensively in every topic that we go through. I will access to which level of understanding a student has in their subjects and where is their weaknesses. I prefer an on going and interactive pace. So students can understand better and express their doubts in what they do.
I have 4 years of experience. Ive been teaching p5 students for 3 consecutive years and experienced in teaching a group pf 6 students in a class. After giving tuition the average no. of passes increased. There was a student who gets an average of 68 and now able to get at average of 80 for her Maths. She even scored 92 for her latest School examinations. Besides that, i do teach p5 science for 2 years in a group of 4 students. Also, i do have experience in teaching p4 maths and p6 maths for 2 years. For lower secondary level i do have experience in teaching Sec1 N(T) & Sec 2 N(T). Ive managed to push their marks from average of 30+ to 50+ I had an experience in teaching Sec 3 Express E.Maths, Physics and Chemistry (comb. sci) There is also a student who i taught for 2 years straight managed to improve her grades from E8 to B3 for her N-Level maths and currently pursuing her E-Maths this year O level. Last year, i taught 2 PSLE students in foundation level. One of them is a repeat student. He managed to get a pass where as he usually get U grade for his maths and another student who always get average of 30 in his maths and he finally scored his highest marks for PSLE and get a B for his maths.
