"Learning with passion"
I currently have little teaching experiences but I do believe that I have the passion, drive and method to push the students. For my teaching method; I would alter it accordingly based on the child'a abilities, interest in the subject as well as their performance. I believe that for any child to do well, it is important to first garner their interest in the subject and confidence. This is important as I believe them receiving tuition would mean that they have little or no confidence in the subject, or worse; that they dislike the subject matter. Hence, in order to boost student's confidence, I think giving them simple verbal quizzes is important as it will allow the tutor to analyze the amount that the student has absorbed and gained from tuition and also allow the student to feel more confident in the subject when they get the correct answer. This will drive the student on and allow them to feel more confident while managing the subject. I like the idea of interactive teaching whereby not only the student ask the teacher questions In areas that they are unfamiliar with but also, tutors asking students questions to fully gauge whether the student has acquired all the potential knowledge and subject matter.
