"Hardwork and interest above all"
My preferred teaching subject is Math. I scored an A in my JC's Math Prelims and A levels and am quite confident on my mathematical ability. I can help with questions on Chemistry too. I am also pretty confident about my chem ability, having scored and A in my Alevels. My teaching belief is basically : Practice makes perfect. i would give my students practice questions for them to grasp hold of the important concepts. From there, i will give questions of increasing difficulty and of different styles, so that my students will be exposed to different question types and hence making my students more confident in tackling different sorts of questions. Of course, before i begin to give my students questions, i will usually have a conversation with them over what they know, what they are unsure of and what they completely do not know about the topic. This way, i will better understand their ability as well as the difficulty level of the questions i offer them. In my lessons, i will also provide time for my students to consult me on different questions they have seen and are not able to do or do not fully understand the concepts behind it. i strongly believe that procrastination is never a way to do well, so i'll try my best to make sure my students are clear of what i've taught them before i move on to another topic. Often, i give help to my juniors and peers on math and chem, and they feel secured asking me those questions.
