"Striving for the Best"
I've been giving tuition for 4 years, since I graduated from JC. I taught at a primary school for a year of contract teaching. I then graduated from NIE with a Diploma in Education and was then offered to take up my degree in English Language. I have graduated from the programme in 2014 and have been teaching in since then. I enjoy teaching Primary school Math and English. I have also taught Secondary School Math. I prefer to motivate my weaker students and help them achieve their best. I work best with lower ability students as I find they benefit most from my teaching methods. I am also a trained Reading Remediation Programme teacher.
I have helped a primary one pupil who had started off with zero reading skills to be able to read and recognise high frequency words and enjoy reading on her own. I have also helped 3 pupils improve their Math from U grade to passing grades for their PSLE. I have taught altogether 8 pupils individually over the past 4 years and they have all done well in their PSLE and in their final examinations.
