"Inspiring children to enjoy learning"

I believe that every child is a unique individual who has the potential to become a confident and independent person, enthusiastic about discovering the world around them, when given a caring and conducive learning environment to grow in. I am able to lay a good foundation for a child's experience in learning by role modeling what I hope to see in them - that is to always look at the strength of the child, be generous with encouraging words and apt praises. I believe in building children's self esteem, by giving them experiences of success in the subjects, encouraging discussion, having a positive attitude towards errors as being part of the learning process, and teaching them problem solving by providing appropriate level of stimulation to help children develop and practice their own thinking. I am therefore committed to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences that are meaningful, interesting and enriching to all children, to enhance their disposition to learn. I also believe that working collaboratively with each child's family will strengthen the nurturance of the individual child's development.
