"Unleash the Ace in Your Child"
I am a former secondary school English teacher. I am familiar with the new O Level English syllabus and examination style. During my 4 years of teaching at school, I had created a wealth of resources and examination papers based on the new English syllabus. English is not only about writing grammatically correct sentences, but also about articulating, and conveying ideas, perspectives, arguments etc. There are written, verbal and analysis components involved. In order to achieve these three areas, English must not be taught rigidly. For example, song lyrics can be used for grammar and vocabulary. News articles and news reporting can provide students exposure to current issues, articulating the current issues and analysis of the issues.
Coordinator for Sec 1ENA English in 2011. Coordinator for Sec 2ENA English in 2012. Coordinator for Sec 3E Social Studies in 2011 and 2012. Achieved class with highest percentage of distinctions in Sec 2 Express English End-of-Year Examination 2012.
Seven Distinctions in O Level. Two Distinctions in A Level. Dean's List for NTU Attachment Programme.
