"Ignite your mind"
I graduated from NUS in the year 2017 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors. Currently I am working in Quality management in a chemical company with a regional role at the headquarters in town. I have the passion and the interest to help students in need to the best of my abilities by providing the necessary aids. I believe that ownership is important, thus I aim to instill this sense ownership in my students so that they can do their best. Patience also plays a huge role in ensuring that students understand the relevant content and concepts. My students will be placed in an open environment where there is no questions too dumb to be questioned. I also encourage two-way communication between students and tutor as I deemed that to be essential in learning and development.
Previously when I was in NUS, I was doing part time tuition for approximately 3 years, and an additional one year after graduation. My most recent student was 6months ago when he ended his Nlevels. I taught him starting from when he was in Sec 3 - Sec 5, after his Nlevels ended. Subject taught was Science and Math initially, but after improvement in his Science grade a year after, we dropped science and focused on Math. Before that i taught a Sec 2 girl from School of Science and Technology. Subjects are Math and Science
I graduated NUS with Bachelors' of Science with Honors, Chemistry major. In addition, I have attain 6 distinctions in Olevels and this would show my proficency in the above olevel subjects.
