I have taught at Kumon tuition centre before, teaching primary school and secondary school students. My main teaching subjects are Mathematics and English Language. However I would also help with Science and Chinese Language at times. Besides having taught at the tuition centre, I have also done home tuition. For private tuition, I have taught students both primary and secondary students. Main teaching subjects are also Mathematics and English Language. I had a secondary 1 student who was very poor in his Mathematics and who constantly failed all his Mathematics tests. However, with my method of constant practice and ensuring that his basic foundation is well built, his results improved tremendously, and his confidence in the subject grew stronger. I believe in strict but flexible teaching, and I would constantly use my own examples to illustrate mathematical formulas and theories to help students who fear Mathematics to overcome that fear, and to understand the logic behind the mathematical steps.
