"Promoting independent thinking for my students"
As a private tutor with more than four years of experience teaching Mathematics and Science at Primary Level, I enjoy motivating my students to learn and helping them to get a proper understanding on the concepts and topics that they are weak in. Promoting independent thinking is at the core of my teaching values. I am experienced in helping students to understand Mathematics concepts via simple diagrams and explaining Science concepts based on scientific keywords. I would teach my students on the appropriate methods and techniques to tackle questions using the right approach. With patience and step-by-step guidance, I would encourage students to think and come up with their own solutions first to promote independent thinking before going through the solutions and concepts with them. Direct spoonfeeding of answers is strongly discouraged. Ultimately, I believe that every student should be able to excel if they have the right attitude and willing to make an effort to improve with my guidance.
