I'm the kind a teacher who assists his students but the first priority is to teach the student how to learn, calculate and understand independently. Teaching a man how to fish is better than giving him a fish. I don't just merely point out there mistakes but i make them realize their own mistakes as one learns most through their mistakes. Of course for slow students I'm more supporting and helpful. I believe every student can get a B or higher grade, he or she just needs to find the correct method of learning. I help the students discover that method by analyzing their strengths and weaknesses and their learning style. I've had two years of teaching. Private and at a center. My previous two students enjoyed good grades with me. One became A from a C and the other B from fail. However, they moved abroad.
I have helped one student (Alizeh from Hume Ave) get an A in Sec 2 EOY papers and the other(Ammaar from yiochukang) B in sec 3 EOY papers.
I obtained straight As in O levels and 3 As and 4 Bs in A levels. Now I'm studying Chemical Engineering in NUS.
