"Every Child can Excel given the right coaching"
Upon acceptance by MOE, I was posted to teach a P2 class at Princess Elizabeth Pri on Sept 01'. The next year, I was assigned a P3 class to teach EMS. After the 9 mth contract teaching stint, I entered NIE on June 02' to be trained as a PE teacher. In addition to PE modules I took Math as my academic subject major and several English modules. I was then assigned to teach at North View Pri when I graduated in June 04'. I was then given a P6 EM2 Math class till the end of the year. I then became a form teacher teaching EMS as follows. 2005-P3 2006-P4 2007-P5 2008-P6
-I managed to obtain 100% pass in Science for a mixed ability class in Princess Elizabeth Pri in 2002.(I was then an untrained teacher) -I was given 2 Top classes in P5 and P4 to teach Science in North View Primary in 2007. (I was not even trained in the Science syllabus in NIE) -I am proud to say that in my last P6 class in 2008, all my pupils did well enough to qualify for Express or Normal Academic Stream. None were offered Normal Technical or even the NT/ NA option. This was based on the fact that I taught a mixed ability class in a neighborhood school.
I wasn't an "A" grade pupil in my younger days But I come from a family of teachers, trainers and consultants.IE we are all have a passion for teaching.
