"Believe in yourself, you can achieve anything!"
The reason I want to be a part time tutor is because I'm passionate about teaching and I love children. I am an approachable and patient person. My teaching style: First, I give a basic idea to the student about the topic that I am going to teach. Then, when I explain the topic in detail, I try to gauge the student's level of understanding. I encourage the student to ask questions. Sometimes students may be too shy to say that they don't understand. If I feel the student is not clear about the subject, then I explain again. Once I am convinced that the student is clear about the topic, then I test it with a few simple questions and exercises. In my view, it is very important for a student to have faith in himself/herself while studying. I motivate the student and provide positive reinforcement. I appreciate the students if they are doing well. I have two year experience at teaching O level Maths and I find my teaching method to be very effective. As far as aptitude is concerned, I have been a top student throughout school. I received the scholar's trophy at school every year. I am a natural teacher and I always make sure that my student improves and continues to improve.
I have taught two students O Level Maths. Their grades have improved phenomenally. One of my students scored 60% when I started teaching her. In her last exam, she has scored 89%
I received the scholar's trophy every year at school. Scored the second highest marks in 12th (A level equivalent).
