"Thinking Outside Convention"

I try to impart knowledge outside of the conventional teaching material. For example, what the examiners are looking for based on the number of lines provided for answering questions, as well as marks allocated for that question. Being able to see a question from the examiners' point of view is essential in scoring points. However it is also important to have an in depth knowledge of a certain topic. I tend to ask bonus questions on top of the usual questions in practice papers to challenge the students to have a more inquisitive mind. I encourage students to look for answers that they are unsure of and will also ask questions to pique the students' interest in that specific topic I did a lot of self directed learning as a student because my parents could not afford a tutor. I hope that by teaching your child, I can impart soft skills such as resilience and mental toughness that will be crucial in their adult working life.
