Experienced tutor that is familiar with MOE syllabus and specialised in Upper Primary Science and Heuristics Math. Assigned to teach lower primary to lower secondary as a centre tutor. Experienced in outdoor experiential education. A down to earth individual that is able to teach and bond with all kinds of students. Have taken charge of students ranging from the unconfident yet competent student, to the introvert with untapped potential or the playful, smart kid that knows-it-all. I place a huge emphasis in finding a reason for learning and learning more than just the sake of academics. I deliver my lessons with creative and different methodologies at times, proving to my charges that "being educated" is not just about "studying". for example, I imparted problem solving skills through kinesthetics , science concepts with interesting "discover and discuss" session, encouraged the use of technology during class for the right purposes.
