"Ace for the best"

This is my 11th year in tutoring. I have taught all Primary levels for the subjects English, Maths, Science & Tamil. I work around a schedule that works best for my students & especially during the exam period, I give as many extra lessons as requested by parents & provide students with sufficient homework & exam papers so they gain more practice. I would describe myself as a patient yet firm teacher. I believe practice makes perfect & ensure my students get as much practice during lessons & also provide them with challenging homework. Apart from practicing using assessment books, I provide my students with primary school test & exam papers regularly. If parents request I prepare the assessment books required for tuition, I will do so accordingly & advise on the best assessment books in the market currently as well. I am a dedicated & committed teacher & have a strong passion for teaching. I ensure I arrive for lessons on time & do not cancel lessons unless there is an emergency. I try my best to accommodate with my students' availability & have frequent conversations with parents to update them on their child's progress. I am also a qualified & experienced Early Childhood educator. I was working in the preschool line for 8 years before joining the primary school line in 2015. I have experience tutoring preschool children between 4-6 years old for phonics, reading, numeracy & Tamil.
