2 years experience pri school level; english, chinese, maths and science. able to teach lower secondary chinese and science (with my major in Bsc Biotechnology) First to understand their strength and weakness in the subject through assessment. Second find out which particular area / modules weaker in and what they dont understand or had difficulties in getting the concept or when to apply. compare difference between their strength and weakness area help them understand what techniques used in specific that can be approached in a different way. third what have they done to improve on their weakness. lastly, set improvement goals for them to achieve accordingly with time. Understanding their thoughts about their weakness and strengths is paramount. Help them understand the subject in a manner they can with analogies or they way of understanding is my goal. Let them understand process is more important than the end result.
