"To bring out the best in them"

Personally, I love interacting with children and am passionate in helping to bring out the best in each child. I have previously coached a group of secondary 2/3s in their academics and am currently tutoring a P6 boy (preparing for PSLE). In my experience in teaching, I would first spend the first lesson to carefully observe the student's studying/working attitude. From there, I would adjust my teaching method i.e offering more encourage/being stricter to fit the student. When approaching questions, I will always force the student to think before dropping hints to the answers. I also attempt to offer a structural thinking procedure by teaching the student how to break down complicated questions. If I observe that the student is particularly weak in a specific chapter/topic, I will prepare extra notes/worksheets to drill the student.
