"Bringing your kids to their utmost potential"
I have just graduated from River Valley High as of last year (2017), currently waiting for the release of my A levels results. I was in the 6-year Integrated Programme (IP) after I entered River Valley via my Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results of 260. I started tutoring as soon as I graduated, thus I may only have up to 2 months of tutoring experience. Though i may not be the most experienced, however I will stay committed, and not miss lessons without absolute valid reasons. Apart from the above, I also place great emphasis in keeping myself updated with the syllabus I am tasked to teach. I try to build rapport with students I teach as much I can, to establish a good relationship as a basis to build upon before tutoring takes place. My strength lies in mathematics, and I am currently tutoring Math as well, though I can take on science classes too. As for my teaching style, I prefer to teach students the various methods of solving a question to see which they prefer to adopt, instead of teaching them in a one-size-fits-all fashion, in other words I will appropriately adjust and tailor my teaching methods and style to better fit the student I am teaching.
I make it a point to not miss lessons and have never missed lessons with my tutees without absolute valid reasons thus far.
I obtained A* for Math, Science and English and A for Chinese, and merit for Higher Chinese in PSLE. I was in the 6-year Integrated Programme(IP). I constantly scored A1* for Math up to Year 4(Sec 4), before moving on to the Junior College Level, where I scored As and Bs for H2 math throughout.
