"Everyone can excel"

My teaching method will be much different from your average tutor. I believe everyone can learn the subject, but sometimes everyone learns a different way or children have not developed the right paradigm to approaching mathematical problems. Young children especially have a short attention span and I will focus on finding out what motivates your child and making the learning as fun and engaging as possible. I will be patient with slower students and know how to match my style and pace with the learning ability of the student. Everyone can excel and there is no such thing as a weak student. I often find that establishing a rapport with a person is important before they are receptive in learning from you. I always try my best in developing this rapport because I want to impart as much wisdom and knowledge as I can to my students. Ultimately, I want my students to not only excel at problem solving but also to develop critical thinking skills which will carry them throughout life. I graduated from SMU Business with a finance major and was formerly a pilot with Singapore Airlines.
