"Challenge and Exceed your own self"

This is PX. It is actually my first time registering being a tutor as I do genuinely wish to gain the experience of teaching; which means sharing not only my academic knowledge with students, and also to learn and grow together with one another. Education is not just about getting excellent grades; it is also about learning and understanding the respective subject. By teaching, I also hope to be able to improve the lives of those I teach, not just through the subjects themselves; but the impact of the knowledge gained in future endeavours. I'd love to focus on teaching Math in particular, as it has always been my favourite subject, almost becoming a passion. I've always aimed to be the best in that subject, to be the top; scoring full marks, topping the class and school cohord and representing the school in math competitions. For me, it isn't so much about practising math problems all day long. Rather, it was the understanding the basic knowledge and usage of the math theories that helped me excel, which further emphasizes that students should try to understand what they are actually learning; in order to apply what they have learnt. In music, I'm more into songs of the mandarin pop industry, writing songs of the genre. I am not a performer, and am still advancing my music theory grades; But I will be able to guide someone into the first steps of playing a guitar/keyboard, coupled with simple music theoretical knowledge. For instance, I can help someone learn to sing and play a song, through 0 music experience.
