Ms Chia is an experienced Math teacher who has developed her knowledge for the academic syllabus through 8 years of teaching. She is a dynamic young teacher who is passionate about using unconventional method such as using objects, story telling and role playing to stimulate the student’s interest and critical thinking skills. She is able to build good rapport with students and hence understand their strength and weakness. Many of her students showed improvement academically and showed interest in the subject after months of coaching.
I have been teaching primary Mathematics and Science for 8 years. I have taught students from Raffles Girls, Paya Lebah Methodist, Ngee ann, Maris Stella and more. Last year I had 7 PSLE students, 4 out of 7 got A, one got A* and the rest got B. My P2 to P5 students all got A for their exam last year. All had improvement in their results. I know the syllabus very well and have good approach in teaching students based on their learning behavior.
I graduate with second class honour in Business Management. Mathematics is always my forte.
