"Helping students reach their fullest potential"
I have vast experience in teaching primary school P1-P6 Maths and secondary school S1-S4E/5N E and A Maths. I am familiar and up-to-date with the syllabus. I started my tutoring journey by teaching students at their homes one-on-one. After which, I joined a tuition centre part time for 2.5 years, where I taught Maths to primary school students (P3-P6) in groups of 10. For private tutoring, I have taught (primary/E/A) Maths to 1 P4, 1 P5 and 3 P6 students, as well as 3 O Level, 2 N level students, 1 Sec 2 and 1 Sec 3 students.
Generally, all of my primary school students scored 80s from the 60s range and my secondary school students improved from a failing grade or C6s to A2s and B3s.
Most of my tutees usually already have assessment books, which I will use for homework as practice. I use the school’s textbook at the beginning of each topic such that I am fully aware on the methods being taught in their schools. This makes sure that the student can fully understand what’s going on. Also, I print out various school’s exam papers for them to practise so that they can get used to the exam format and practise their time management on each section.
