"Work smart"

I have 2 years of teaching experience. I have a clear understanding of the various concepts that need to be taught and tricky areas students often have issues with. As a former top O and A level student, I know the areas students need to pay special attention to and what to look out for. As a current university student myself, I understand the struggles which students have to go through. My aim for each of my students is to not only improve their current results, but also teach them how to work smart. I believe that the ability to not only work hard but smart as well, is a life-long skill. Each and every individual is unique. I am aware that the same teaching techniques may not be suitable for everyone. I plan to take the first few lessons to better understand my students, their strengths and weaknesses. Once I have a better picture, I tailor my lessons to their individual needs. What remains constant is me teaching each of my students valuable examination techniques to help in a stressful examination environment. Needless to say, I do provide constant feedback to their parents or guardians to keep them updated and in the loop.
