"Talent only pays off when applied"
I was a teacher aide at Pathlight School's secondary school track for 7 months. I am currently pursuing a minor in special needs as well. Hence, I have some experience in teaching students with special needs.
I have taught primary 6 Chinese, English and Science briefly. I taught primary 4 and 5 math last year and am currently teaching primary 5 and 6 this year.
I personally feel that tuition is a two way thing. If my student is willing to learn and put in his/her best, I am confident in helping him/her achieve his/her desired results. Through my Secondary School and Junior College years, I was not motivated to give my best. I believe I would be able to encourage my students to maximize their potential given my schooling journey and experience.
I have helped two of my students achieve the most improved award.
I have consistently achieved the Academic Achievement award through my Secondary and Junior College years as well the EAGLES award in both my final year in secondary school and junior college. ( Both awards are issued by MOE)
