"Every child can learn"
I have been a English private tutor for close to 6 years. As a teacher, I believe in inculcating interest in the subject rather than drill and practice. Throughout my time teaching, I have developed teaching strategies for different levels of students. A majority of my students have said that they enjoy my lessons and many of their grades have improved substantially. Other than my many years tutoring, I am currently a NIE trainee, specially for primary school English and Social Studies. Hence, I am very much in touch with the current syllabus and teaching pedagogy. I am a dedicated teacher who would prioritize your child's learning needs.
I have tutored more than 10 students ranging from primary 3 to JC 2. After tutoring, my student's grades have improved substantially. My current primary 4 student is now the top of her class for English, while another child's composition grade has jumped to 35/40.
I graduated from National University of Singapore with honors in Southeast Asian Studies. I am currently undergoing my post - graduate diploma in Education with the National Institute of Education (NIE).
