Self Description

A current Full Time Tutor with over 3 years experience as well as a full time educator at Nanyang Educational Consultancy. I am a certified Home Tutor and a Qualified Group Tutor. Started my tutoring journey at a young age teaching Nlevel students and teaching low income families for free. Currently, a certified and qualified tutor with over 30 students and counting. I am a Versatile, Caring and Long Term Tutor. Some of my notable achievements include over 10 As for PSLE English, Math and Science accumulated. I have improved students whom have failed their exams to helping them achieve the best improvement award and Edusave Bursary awards. I am currently coaching several Secondary School students who are improving daily and scoring As for their Work Semester 1. I am also group tutoring several Sec 3 students for English and Comb Science. Teaching students of different age brackets and subjects allowed me to do some analysis of their common issues which became their biggest roadblock to assimilation and synthesis of core knowledge. I have customised quality materials that include Mindmaps, Additional Notes, Powerpoint Presentations I believe in being a mentor for my students. I have several records of testimony from my students' parents for credibility purposes. All in all, I am a Caring and Credible Tutor. I also credit my achievements to the growing Hunger and Passion of my students who worked hard for it.

Proven Track Record

My student, Mohammed Farid, a Sec 2 NA English and Math Student from Juying Secondary was struggling with 20s and 30s for his subjects. This was an initiative to help Lower Income families. Student in a mere 3 months managed to pass both English and Math exams Taught 2 students(Twins), Samayra and Sanyam from Bukit Panjang Primary School for PSLE Math. Students were very weak in Math with one of them failing Math constantly and the other student achieving C. We had to come up with innovative ways of allowing the students to work together and to tap on their strengths and weaknesses. I had also created several Quizes as well as Questions on my own to enhance their knowledge. Students' parents were constantly advised of their progress. Both Students managed to achieve an A& B respectively and got to Express with just 8 months of my Tutoring Services. A P6 student, Shivansh from Bukit Panjang Primary School who had a good foundation for Math and Hindi but a weak foundation for English. We had to work with him from scratch for English by focusing on Creative Writing and Paper 2. Math was his favourite but student was constantly confusing concepts. Had to go through a detailed approach. Student also got a chance to improve his Writing and Speaking for Hindi through my tuition. Student achieved A for English & A* for Math and Hindi. Student was also Top 10 in School. This was an outcome with 8 months of my Tutoring Services. Results can be shown My P6 student, Gummady Tanay from West Grove Primary School had a stable foundation for PSLE Subjects. Student was also scoring Cs for Science and Hindi. Had to give more particular interest to these subjects. Student managed to achieve all As for PSLE exam. Results can be shown. A hardworking student who was not achieving his desired results. Ryan John from St Andrews Primary School was of South Indian Origin hence his mother was worried about Student's weak results in Hindi, Math and Science. Affer constantly, going through and revising work daily, Student managed to achieve 80s Range for Pri 4 Math And Science and 60s for Hindi. Student's Mother was very impressed. Results can be shown P1 English and Hindi student named Aathin from Queenstown Primary School! Working Parents who could not manage time for Student's subjects. Student is currently in Primary 2 and doing well. Parents feel relieved. My Student, Nur Hazlam from Woodlands Primary School who was suffering poor results and the tension of a rude tutor. I had to work with him from the basics and student and the mother are currently very impressed and happy with my services. Student is currently doing well for Comb Science and English. Student is doing Nlevels this year. A student, Aarav Pathak from Pioneer Primary School who was scoring 20s-30s range in Primary 3. With constant focus and time on his weak foundations, he made outstandimg improvements in his End Of Year Primary 4 exams achieving 60s-70s in all his subjects. I regard this as one of my most honourable achievements. He even clinched the Best improvement award for his class and achieved the Edusave Bursary Award. A Long Term Student, Ishan Jacob from Queenstown Primary School who has been with me for close to 2 years. Started out with weak foundations in all Four Subjects. Currently, getting 70s and 80s for English, Math and Science. Had the weakest foundation in Math. We had to adopt creative ways towards problem solving, practising exam papers thoroughly, creating quizes and presenting various methods for him to apply. Sec 1 NT Student, Ashish Singh from St Gabriel Primary School who needed help in all 3 subjects. Currently doing very well for Work Semester 1 and we are aiming to get him to Normal Academic! I am currently working intensely on his English as Student has been allowed to study NA English
