"Knowledge is the light of the world"
I have been teaching for the past three years back in my home country to GCE students and a year to junior students. The teaching style changes a lot with the level as the junior students need extra amount of concentration and response from the teacher. Great burden lies on the tutor to make the subject interesting enough for the student to study. at higher levels, though, extrinsic motivation of getting grades and scoring higher becomes more dominant and students are a bit self-motivated. Nevertheless, I feel confident because I have taught both types of students. Additionally, the subjects that I have opted to teach are my strong subjects and I can explain a single concept with many life-related examples. Similarly, giving examples from the areas of interest of the student makes the subject more interesting and easily memorizable. Getting along with a student in a friendly manner, thus, is the key to success and self-satisfactory results.
I had three students back in my country who have gotten A grades in Chemistry, Business Studies, Physics and Mathematics in A level.
I myself have straight A's in O level and in A level. Additionally, I ranked 16 in the nationwide mathematics contest and was selected in the top 50 students chosen in National physics olympiad 2006.
