"Dedication to your child's excellence"
I am a patient teacher who will make the effort to try help your children understand. However, I know when to be strict at times and I avoid spoon-feeding my students, as this will make them lazy and reliant on me for answers. I am able to identify their weak areas, and make sure that they constantly practise in order to gain understanding and mastery of the subject(s).
Having close to three years of experience in tutoring Upper Primary students, I am more than familiar with the demands of the primary school syllabus, and have developed ways to help my students improve in their weak areas. Many of my students have managed to get A during their PSLE, especially in English and Science. Hire me as your child's tutor and I am confident I will be able to help him/her to improve his or her grades.
I have been tutoring Upper Primary School students for close to three years in English, Maths and Science. Many of my students have managed to get A during their PSLE, especially in English and Science.
A P6 student to whom I taught Chinese 2 years ago managed to get A for the subject for his PSLE, despite getting Bs before i tutored him.
In February 2009, I was awarded two Scholastic Awards in recognition of my excellent academic performance in the 2008 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Examination.
I earned 42 points (out of 45) for the IBDP exam and was the top student in History (Standard Level). I was even admitted into a prestigious British university, London School of Economics.
In October 2007, I was specially selected by ACS (Independent) to be a member of the prestigious Dean’s List in Economics (Higher Level). Students on the Dean’s List are among the academic elite of the faculty as they represent the top 10% of the Year 5 (IBDP 1) cohort by attaining consistently excellent results.
In 2006, I was awarded the Edusave Scholarship for being one of the top 10% in the cohort in Nan Hua High School.
