Hi there, My name is Joel and I am a part-time tuition teacher with 4 years experience of teaching students from primary, secondary and tertiary levels. I have had as many as 6 different students to date and I enjoy teaching each and every single one of them. Growing up under Singapore's highly competitive education society and having been through the rigourous and extensive education system myself, I feel that every student will excel if he/she sincerely believes in his/her education and takes control of it. Therefore, apart from imparting the academic fundamentals to my students, I spend a significant amount of effort sharing and guiding my students with my personal experiences, so as to ensure they enjoy and learn at the same time. Why should you hire me to tutor your child? I take pride in teaching and guiding my kids to excel in their studies as much as you do. I will go that extra mile to create memorable and interesting lessons for my students to ensure that they maximize their learning potential. I believe that constant encouragement will build up a child's confidence. Therefore, I do my utmost best to motivate and inspire my students to do well to secure their future more than anything else.
