"Every child is an unpolished diamond, that needs the help to become a bright and shining diamond."
I had assigned to peer tutor my friends during secondary school for combined science(phy/bio) and principles of accounts. I am also selected as being one of the reading buddies to guide primary school students on reading and correct them on their pronouciation. During my poly life, I had took up one CCA on mentoring primary school students on EMSC. I am also one of the Singapore Press Holdings' Student Correspondents. I write articles on behalf of my school and this would be published on the "thumbsUp" and "zbComma". Currently, I have 2 secondary three (next year) students, and 2 kids that are learning conversational mandarin . I gave tuition for 4 years, in which one of my 3 students that I mentioned above, was taught by me since my first year. Her grades had improved from marignal pass to all above 70+ for MSC in primary school. In addition, the primary 5 student that I had taught before used to obtained 50+ for maths and chinese, less than half a year he had improved to above 70 for both subjects.
My student, Lam Ching Eng, staying in Marine Parade, get straight A's for MSC after attending my tuition lessons.
