"There's no reason why you can't get good grades. Study hard & study smart is the key to success."
I'm currently a year 2 Accounting & Finance Student at University of London. I strongly believe in studying hard and studying smart. Studying hard means doing lots of practice and don't slack off. Studying smart means picking up, learning and fully digesting the important parts of the syllabus, and not just memorizing & regurgitating during exams. With the correct method of studying, half the battle is won. During my usual tuition classes, I'll usually ask the student what he/she wants to go through. From there, I'll start the lessons in this order: go through eg. part A -> do a sample question -> student to work out a few questions -> go through student's work. Explain which part he/she has done wrong and highlight in his/her notes the correct approach to attempt the question. I'll also give examination tips to my students to aid them in their preparations. Homework will be given. It's always good to practice!
