I have been doing private tutoring for about 5 years altogether. I am currently teaching Primary English & Math at tuition centers. I had helped several students with the academic jump from different primary levels, especially from primary 3 to 4 and from 4 to 5. I have children in primary school, therefore I am very familiar with the MOE curriculum. My teaching method for Math is to help student to understand the concept first and solve the problem with different approach such as manipulative, pictorial and finally through model and branch method. My teaching method for Science is to use relevance in daily life to help students remember the facts of Science. My teaching method for language are based on a Language recycling approach which is Listen, Read, Speak & write. By doing repetition, language will be able to attain successfully.
