I have 2 years of teaching experience up to date, I have always managed to improve grades of my tutees, through building rapport with them, patience, close monitoring of their work and continuous encouragement. What I enjoyed in tuition is the one to one learning experience with the kids as it is important that the child has the full attention from the teacher. Thus they will learn much better and faster. When I see my students or tutees have done well in their examinations, it gives me great sense of satisfaction that money cannot buy. My style is 'Do it once, do it good. We may have heard this ad nauseam, but clich¨¦d as it may be, this is the one guiding principle that has carried me through my years of education The point is to be meticulous in our work, and this applies greatly for Math and the Sciences. In the same way, I aim to train my students to be as careful, to consistently produce work of high quality. Being meticulous means spotting errors early enough to prevent them from being carried forward - and I'm not just referring to mathematical solutions. We also rectify conceptual errors as early as possible to build strong foundations. Math is my favorite subject. I have always been the top ten in my School. My best record was to score 100/100 in my end of year A math exams. Furthermore, I have won a lot of math competition prizes. Experience: Past experience when I was a teacher: - I teach Mathematics Olympiad (junior section) (I¡¯m one of the main coaches) and year four class Mathematics in Dunman High School in 2010. (March to May) - I used to teach Sec 3&4 mathematics in Eduplex tuition centre. Past experience when I was a student - Peered tutored upper sec students in Chestnut Drive Secondary School & Unity Secondary School in E.Maths, A.Maths ahd Chemistry for CIP - Helped a schoolmate in Mathematics when I was in Sec 4 and he has improved from C5-C6 to A2 in his IP end of year exams.
