Hello this is Raymond Tan here. I am 23 years old and I have been a tutor for 6 years. I have been teaching primarily English to Chinese-speaking students from different backgrounds. I have a vast amount of experience in helping these students overcome their fear of the English Language, Teaching has been very rewarding experience for me especially when I see my students outdo themselves each time.
The youngest student that I have had is about 7 years old and the oldest student is about 18 years old. Most of my students were failing badly for English as they did not have a good foundation since young. After having lessons with me for about 3 months, many of them find that English can be quite an interesting subject and tool in life. The rest is history.
I graduated with a Diploma in Marketing from Temasek Polytechnic. We worked with many real business clients like M1, Club Med, Singapore Flyer, Philips etc and some of my group projects were shortlisted to be presented to these clients. Proficiency in English was one of the main contributing factors to this.
