I am an ex-secondary school teacher and have been teaching maths and science throughout. I have been awarded the MOE Teaching Award (Honours) during my NUS Education. Furthermore, I have been providing tuition services for 8 years, since university till now. I am well versed in secondary school mathematics and science syllabus, and am able to teach Physics, Chemistry, A Maths and E-Maths, together with lower secondary science and mathematics. I am also familiar with H1 and H2 Maths. I have experience in tutoring JC, IP (From HCI and RVHS), Gifted, Express, N(A), N(T), private students and students preparing for placement tests. In year 2008, I have tutored 7 graduating students, for pure physics, chemistry, combined science(Physics/Chem), A-Maths and E-math, H2 Maths and Chemistry for JC. My previous students obtained a results of grade A1 to B4 for the subjects. With the wealth of experience under my belt, I understand the requirements for each of the subjects for every level, from sec 1 to sec 4 and JC, and is able to target the learning for both maximum understanding and for the exams, be it the school exams, the 'N' , 'O' or the 'A' levels. I believe in a teaching approach that fits the students learning style. I have students who needs advanced knowledge, visual learning, exam techniques, and students who just needs someone to push them. No matter what, I have laced the different teaching approaches with lots of encouragement.
