"Passing on my knowledge to the next generation"
I am very passionate in passing on my knowledge to my peers and have no qualms in teaching them long hours if they require more help.
I often give my students my personal notes and allow them to ring me up if they require assistance when they are doing their homework.
My method of coaching is to use analogy to explain abstract concepts to students so that they would understand better.
I would also resort to drawing out certain structures so that it would aid in their visualisation as i do not encourage memorising by the book because people would tend to forget.
I have 2 years of experience giving tuition. I have tutored four secondary 4 students as well as 1 junior college student. One of my student, Arnaldo, who is a secondary 4 male student used to have a D7 grade for math but he is getting an average of B3 to A2 after 9 months of coaching.
Jessica who is my current O' level student used to get border line pass for chemistry but she scores an average of B for her class tests and school internal exams.
I graduated from Montfort Secondary school getting good progress award in secondary 2 and getting scholarship award from the goverment for 2 consecutive years in secondary 3 and 4.
When i was in Serangoon Junior College, I got good progress award once again and did relatively well for my A'level examinations.
