"Maths Makes Many Marvellous"
I usually take 2 sessions to a month to diagnose a student's most effective learning style, then I will plan lessons 4 sessions in advance(about 1 month). My main focus is for students to have good learning habits so as to discover for themselves and not rely on the teachers and tutors whenever they can't solve a problem. I have been teaching many different syllabus such as the IB, international schools and of course Singapore's Math. I am also a trained MPM Math instructor.
As a teacher in private schools from 2009 to 2014, I have prepared numerous students for the GCE O Levels A/E Maths and as much as 26% of my students have attained A1s and A2s. Currently, I am teaching A levels Further Maths and Core Maths. In 2007, I tutored a Sec2NA girl who failed her maths in sec1. Now she has been promoted to sec3Express due to her good study habits which she carries over to even the subjects I do not teach. I had also tutored a Pri 2 boy from failing to 67 marks in one term. I have also worked with a homeschooling family, their daughter gained entry into an international school one grade above her age (she was P5 and suppose to go P6, the school felt she should go Sec 1) by attained astonishing 97 marks for her entry test!
I graduated from NUS Science Faculty majoring in Pure Mathematics in 2006. I have obtained As and Distinctions for my A Levels and O levels.
