I believe that students do well by understanding what they are learning, and why, instead of merely pursuing better academic excellence. Only with better understanding of a subject will a student truly learn and be educated. As a leader in Symphonic Band(in sec sch and jc), i've coached my juniors, and grew up with them to be a better person, confident and humble, with critical thinking skills. In this modern society it is without doubt that certificates and grades are important. And henceforth i do assure you that i will lead your child to a good learning experience and a happy singaporean student, despite my inadequacy in experience.
