Dear Parents,
I have over 14 years of tutoring experience and I specialize in PSLE preparation with Chinese as second language, as well as English and Literature for Secondary levels.
I teach creative writing upon request.
Rates: $35-$50/hr.
Negotiable depending on total hrs & location.
2000 - Top Student Award for GCE A Level Examination; 1st in English Literature.
1999 - Institute Day, 1st in General Paper.
1998 - Silver Trophy at Interschool Basketball Tournament (Nationals), Participant.
1996 - Top in English for GCE O Level Examination (A1).
TUTORING ACHIEVEMENT:
Successfully helped all my 11 students improve their grades to at least a B grade from their initial failing or mere pass grades.
• 9 out of 11 had a minimum B grade.
• 3 out of 4 students scored As for all 3 tutored subjects.
10-20 students per year ranging from K2-JC2.
My students usually improve their grades fr c grades to A, or F grades to B.
Recent achievement:
Tutored a German kid in English and literature for 3 yrs, fr sec 2 to sec 4 and GP in jc 1- jc 2.
He went from F grade to A for his O levels & got into SAJC. He also scored an A for his GP.
He is currently studying medicine in Germany.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

2. Telemarketing and Sales:
- Clinched HIGHEST SALES FIGURE and HIGHEST TRANSACTION AMOUNT 2 months consecutively.
- Achieved HIGHEST WEEKLY SALES during xxxx contract.
3. Lead Generation & Market Intelligence:
• Awarded one of five STAR AWARDs given out annually.
• Part of team achieving the xxxx Award FOR EXCELLENCE.
• Winner of TOASTMASTERS held quarterly.
- 2 consecutive wins.
As highlighted above, I am an individual with great drive and dedication, always giving nothing less than a hundred per cent towards the task at hand. In school, I participated widely in numerous activities ranging from literary arts to sports, excelling particularly in drama, writing and basketball. As such, I was able to develop qualities of leadership and team-spirit. Completing my ‘A’ level examination in 1999, I left Outram Institute as ‘Top Student’ and ‘First in Literature’ of my cohort.
