"Achieving excellence together"
I have completed BSc in Business at University of London in SIM. During my free time I take up tuition assignments as I like helping kids with their studies and it gives me a sense of satisfaction. Apart from studies, I am a member in Kallang CC Indian Activities Executive Committee. We have organized many events, activities and teaching programmes such as Sinda's reading programme for primary school students. I like kids and can handle them very well.I have 4+ years of teaching experience. Taught primary and lower secondary Mathematics. Great improvements could be seen through my patience and dedication in teaching combined with the students' hard work.
Experiences: 1) I taught a P4 boy who eventually achieved higher scores than his target and I was asked to teach for the following 2 years till PSLE. He achieved an A for his exam. 2) Had a PSLE student who had not passed Maths ever since primary 4. I gave her intensive revision within the final few months and explained different methods to the same question till she understood completely. She scored a B for her PSLE exam. 3) A primary 3 boy had a phobia of tuition and the previous tutors didn't last too long. They then engaged me. I was very patient with the student, understood his needs, made him talk and explain his issues, and finally managed to bring him out of his phobia of tuition and Maths. He enjoyed the lessons thereafter and scored well for his exam.
