My vision is to provide all students the opportunity to do well in the subjects that are important or of interest to the students. I welcome students of all caliber and my objective is to ensure that all students under my care will experience significant improvement in the grades of the subjects that I am tutoring. My teaching approach is as follows: 1. Assess student's understanding of the subject taught in school 2. Enable the student to grasp the subject 3. Reinforce the understanding through answering questions of varying difficulty. This approach has allowed me to increase my efficiency by spending most of my time on teaching subject or concept that the student needs most help on.
Achievements: 1. I had taught a Secondary student A Maths though he was not accepted by his school to take up A Maths as a subject. He took the 'O' Level A Maths examination and scored Distinction as a private candidate. He had not taken a single lesson in A Maths at school. 2. After going through three months of Physics lesson with me, Terry (YCK Sec School) scored an A1 in his CA2. His Physics results were in the C grade prior. 3. After two months of E Math lesson, Roy (ACSI) scored A for his E Math CA2 from B4 for his mid year examination. 4. Bertram improved his E Math from B3 (SA1) to A1 (SA2) 5. Keeshav scored a B3 for his E Math SA2, compared to F9 in SA1. 6. Bryan improved his S3 Combined Physics from C6 to B3 in SA2. 7. Caleb (Bedok South Sec School) achieved grade Two and Three in his ‘N’ level exam for Combined Science and E Math, respectively. He failed both subjects in his SA1 exam. 8. 90% of my students scored an A in the 2015 'O' level Combined Science examination. 9. 80% of my students scored an A in the 2015 'O' level Additional Mathematics examination.
I graduated with a Second Class Honours in Bachelor of Business. I have obtained Distinction in my Maths and Physics in both 'O' and 'A' Level Examinations.
